Thoughtful Design for the Way You Live

meet Marissa Webb,
CPHD, CAPS, LEED AP

I’ve spent more than 20 years in residential architecture, and I keep coming back to the same conviction: the homes we live in should take care of us.

My practice sits at the intersection of building science and human-centered design. I’m a Certified Passive House Designer (CPHD), a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), and a LEED AP — which means I think about how your home performs as carefully as how it looks. I’m licensed in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas, with a deep background in design-build firms. This means I don’t just draw pretty pictures — I understand the dust, the budget, and the realities of construction.

As an AgeWise Colorado Provider, I work with families and caregivers to adapt homes for safety, independence, and long-term living.

My Philosophy: Stewardship & Story

I don’t design monuments. I design the backdrop for the way you live.

Everything starts with listening—really listening. I want to understand what matters most to you, whether it’s a sunny spot for morning coffee, a quieter flow to your day, or a home that supports an aging parent with comfort and dignity.

I also believe the most sustainable home is often the one you already have. While I enjoy new construction, I’m especially passionate about deep energy retrofits. Thoughtfully updating older homes allows us to reduce carbon impact, improve comfort and durability, and preserve the character of our communities—all while creating a space that truly works for you today and for years to come.

As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and a provider in the AgeWise Colorado network, I also work with families and caregivers who want to adapt homes to support safety, independence, and long-term living.

Core Values

Simplicity

Good design feels effortless. I believe in thoughtful details, clear plans, and spaces that work beautifully without excess.

Collaboration

No ego here. I work seamlessly with you and your builder to ensure nothing gets lost in translation.

Sustainability

Energy-efficient homes are healthier and quieter. I integrate practical building science — insulation, air sealing, ventilation — into every design. Not as an add-on, but as a foundation.

Care

Your home is personal. I offer support and clear communication from the first sketch to the final walk-through.

“You are so creative, meticulous, and thorough with all of the steps that go into finalizing the plans. We are so happy that we have had you by our side through this!”
